This exhibition takes the pulse of contemporary applied art in ceramic and glass. It is the jury's desire to showcase works that spur dialogue and touch the viewer. Portions of this exhibition will be presented at Grimmerhus in Denmark in the spring of 2008. "Triennial 07 Ceramic - Glass" has been produced in cooperation with the Norwegian Association of Arts and Crafts.

The Norwegian Association of Arts and Crafts has arranged discipline-based triennials since 2002, and this year's exhibition is the second in the series featuring ceramic and glass. The triennial concept has developed out of the Association's annual exhibition, which has been held every year since 1976.

Submission to the exhibition is open, and it is juried in two rounds. The jury is appointed by the Norwegian Association of Arts and Crafts, and this year's jury members are: Jorun Kraft Mo, Irene Nordli, Ann-Kathrin Samuelsen and Vidar Koksvik, along with Randi Gaustad, Senior Curator, The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design.
