Until 29.04.2007, CAMJAP, Lisboa

Pedro Cabrita Reis produced a work of large dimensions in CAMJAP’s level 0, this Summer. This is a proposal of which the “work in progress”, important principle in the artist’s way of doing art, began past July.

The metaphors of the construction, the house, the visible craft and labour, frequent in his work, have led to an understanding of it that enables the normal circulation of the public accessing levels 01 e 1 inside the Museum, while it was in progress, in a type of semi-enclosed perspective over it. The architectural issues and the ideas on circulation, shelter, memory, structure, (in)accessibility of the spaces will be called upon naturally.

In October The White Room was added to this installation, an occupation of the Museum’s Entrance Hall with an ensemble of paintings by the artist.
