From the composer of the world-famous can-can and The Tales of Hoffmann, Offenbach's deightfully cheeky satire of the story of Helen of Troy arrives in London following a critically acclaimed run at the Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris. With its mischievous laugh-out-loud wit and infectious tunes, this riotous production makes for a supremely entertaining night out, 'reaching the comic heights Offenbach demands' (The Financial Times).
The world-class cast includes Dame Felicity Lott in the title role with her 'delicious deadpan wit and elan that won hearts at the Théâtre du Châtelet' (The Sunday Times), and 'tenor heart-throb' (The Guardian) Toby Spence, as Paris. Director Laurent Pelly makes his UK opera house debut and French specialist Emmanuel Joel conducts.

'A hugely entertaining show preserving the satirical edge and mordant commentary on sexual mores that made Offenbach's operettas so explosive - and popular - in their day' The Times
