The curator of the exhibition is Marie Nipper

What happens when a huge ball is released and follows a visitor along a 400 meter track the moment they enter the door? Or, who would expect a seemingly ordinary bench to envelope in a cloud of smoke as soon as a visitor stops for a rest? Or, who could predict that a huge metal ball in an otherwise empty room would purposely smash into museum walls as visitors move about the space? These are just a few of the unexpected happenings in Jeppe Hein’s SENSE CITY.

This year, as ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum celebrates its 150th anniversary, it gives us great pleasure to present the largest exhibition ever staged for the internationally acclaimed Danish artist, Jeppe Hein.
