Friedrich Nietzsche Gallery Kypriaki Gonia has the pleasure of presenting the first solo art exhibition of the new and upcoming artist Demetres Menikou, titled ‘’Invisible Dialogues’’ in Larnaka on Wednesday the 4th of October, at 20.00. till 20/10/2006 Demetres Menikou portrays the interior world of the human body, in his own unique way, driven by his immense fascination of its multiplicity, beauty and complexicity. The blend of movement rhythm relevance and colour, entices the beholder into a sensation of continuous, infinite inner searching. The artist silently raises timeless questions of the human race, such as ‘Where are the boundaries of human perception?’ ‘When and how does creation begin? ‘Can it be explain by science alone? Can perfection be depicted? Demetres Menikou was born in Larnaka in 1979. His interest in art arose at an early age. He holds a Higher diploma in Graphic & Advertising Design, and a B.A. Degree in Art & Design. He has participated in several group exhibitions in Cyprus.
