Belgrade LIMIT - Live Art Festival performing arts is one of the festivals who aims to promote innovative artists and artistic expression of artists who push the boundaries in performing arts. The term live art is used here to refer to the art form or genre in order to promote the principle of ongoing experiment in art processes and practices. The first edition of Limit - live art festival, 25 - 27 November presented Slovenian-Latvian show "Show your face," then performance from Switzerland "1973" by Massimo Furlan Comp and "One poor and one 0" by BADcom from Croatia and the performance of "First Aid" by Ister Theatre from Belgrade including with video installation "Season of Silence" Young Artists Dane and Mark Salapura Komljen. Also, as a separate program that is implemented in cooperation with the Zagreb Festival of Perforations: Festival of Perforation every year takes places in 3 Croatian cities: Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Rjeka and Belgrade Perforation Event takes place on Limit - live art festival, prepared and spectacular titled "The Night of Performance". The thread that links this year's choice of performances is certainly the fact that this festival takes place in the cultural center Dom Omladine. The performances on this performing art festival limit and address problems and concepts that are related to the old / new identity, youth as not only our institutions but also in the broader social context. Talking about memories, heritage, reconstruction, nostalgia etc. Night of Performance at Dom Omladine in Belgrade, rooted in the Croatian Perforations Festival, and the first time held in Belgrade on 26 November, under the new performing arts festival Limit (Live Art Festival) presenting the Croatian artists - Vlasta Delimar, Milan Božić, Zeljko Zorica and Sinisa Labrović. Night of Performance also presented couple from Serbia Ljiljana Tasic and Dusan Broćić, with performance "bottleneck" of the Belgrade-music couple of contemporary dance Ljiljana Tasic and Dusan Broćić to subject solitude and enjoy art that is now almost impossible to realize. The same night presented a new author performer Biljana Kosmogina and her, 'P' Campaign", provocative performance, which it announced in the following words: "The performance is an imaginative political parody, the nomination of the vagina (popularly known as Pička) in the presidential election, to her arrival at the head of state and the great revival of Serbia” Croatian Night of Performance Vlasta Delimar, great and very well-known Croatian artist accompanied with Milan Bozic, performed Cycle of Erszebet Bathory, Hungarian historical figures and a living legend for many cruelties and mass murders, also known as the first living vampire for sucking up and taking a bath in the blood of her victims. In a second Vlasta’s performance, also done with Croatian artist Milan Bozic, Delimar performed the project "Absolute Artist (Memory and Feeling) Gotovac-Antonio Lauer" dedicated to a late Croatian artist, well known in world, Tomislav Gotovac, who has had a big and important impact on the contemporary art scene in Croatia and beyond in the world. Sinisa Labrović is one of the most active performers in Croatia today known for his performances “Guslarska - the titles of the magazine Gloria” and “The Great Boxing Match with the Minister of Culture of Croatia” for the Belgrade night he has chosen to burn the cult book "Philosophy of provincial" recently deceased Radomir Kosntantinović in front of the audience. "When I was two years ago in Belgrade last time, I heard about the death of my friend who was killed in a car accident. Then I recently rocked the second death, which is close to the dates with my friend's death - the death of Radomir Kosntantinovića, who had a profound influence on me so I decided to upgrade the performance of something that is connected intimately with something that has formed me" said Labrović . Zeljko Zorica has performed his performance "Digitization of Cultural Heritage and its commercial exploitation," in which, referring to the works and texts of Doctor HC Zabludovskog, trying to understand the commercial value of monumental sculptures and commemorative plaques on buildings. |
