British Film Festival in Romania

Between 28 October and 24 November you are invited to the tenth British Film Festival. Bucharest: 28 October-4 November (Cinema Studio and Sala Elvira Popesco) Cluj-Napoca: 14-16 November (Cinema Arta) Iasi: 18-23 November (Cinema Republica) Timisoara: 2-5 November (Cinema Timis) Sally Potter and Sir Richard Eyre are among the big names whose latest work will grace the tenth edition of the British Film Festival, along with features, shorts and animation films from up-and-coming UK artists. Both will attend screenings of their films and will be available for question and answer sessions after Yes and Stage Beauty respectively. The festival will retain the caravan format (the first six films will travel outside Bucharest), to spread awareness of the UK’s contribution to European cinema.
