Gallery Kypriaki Gonia and the Pancyprian Association for the Fighting of the Plague of Hunger organise a photography exhibition of Andreas Larkos. Open until 13 December, 2005.

The photographs were taken by Larkos in August 2005, when a group of doctors and nurses were sent in Kenya by the above Association. The topics of the photographs are landscapes and scenes from the world of Kenya.
The photographs are signed and numbered by the artist. All the income from the sale of the photographs will be spared for the aid of the above Association.

The opening of the exhibition will be held on December 9, at 7:30 p.m by the Honorable Chairman of the House of Representatives Mr. Dimitris Christofia.

Andreas Larkos was born in the occupied village of Lysi in 1949.
He has studied in Athens having as a teacher Pantelis Voulgaris. He has graduated as a Director of Photography for the Cinema.
He has directed many films for companies and television stations in Cyprus. He deals with the Art of Photography since 1969 and with Television since 1991.He has participated in many photography group exhibitions in Cyprus and Greece. This is his first one-man exhibition.
