Ana Durlovski, one of the Macedonian most eminent and respected opera singers, who lives in Vienna, has been engaged by the prestigious Vienna Opera. In January, Ana will sing the role of the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s “Magic Flute” under the baton of Julia Johns.
The Vienna Opera has been rated as one of the best opera houses in the world and is a real artistic challenge for any singer together with the Milan Scale, Metropolitan in New York and London’s Covent Garden. The role being entrusted to Durlovski is one of the most difficult and interesting parts for a coloratura. Many high tunes and spectacular coloratura phrases always instigate admiration and acclamation by the audience. Durlovski will sing the same role of the Queen of the Night in Zagreb in December.
